English term

handset

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Media / Multimedia handset
Hello!
I have read some questions about this word, but I have found it in other contexts, related to HD-DVD. It speaks about the set-up of this machines and it says that a handset that does not work very well, can complicate things. Can it be translated as mando a distancia? That's the only translation I can think about.
Thanks a million!
