ADJUSTMENTS OIL FIRING
The separate compressor system is shipped without oil to avoid spills. At start-up, fill the tank to the middle of gauge glass. Start system. Oil level will drop as cooling coil is filled. Re-adjust level to middle of gauge glass.
Use Non-Detergent type oil SAE-30. For low ambient temperatures, (less than 32 degrees F. use SAE-10 oil.
Check vacuum gauge at circulating pump inlet. 15” HG Maximum.
Check pilot. Place flame safeguard control run-check switch to check position to hold pilot on indefinitely. Perform turn down test to determine minimum pressure requirement. Adjust back to normal (3 to 6” W.C.)
Replace switch to run position.
