English term

10 L1 M/C questions

"Similarly, in Hudson (1982), the beginner and intermediate ESL students’ scores on the 10 L2 M/C questions were higher when they received cue pictures and wrote predictions on focused pre-questions than when there was no support with re-reading, and were lowest with a pre-reading vocabulary list."

"Hu and Nation (2000) showed that when the coverage of known words in a text was 80%, comprehension on a 14-item M/C test was around 40%, which rose to around 70% comprehension with 90-95% coverage and to 87% comprehension with 100% coverage."
