The original document was not notarized so there is nothing to be apostille at this time and obviously we can't notarize something today that happened in 200X. We have a solution to propose. Can we prepare new originals for signature and in the opening line state the agreement is dated 'as of January X, 200X' and then show signature on a day in April, 200X? Also, if this is acceptable, can we notarize and apostille by person or should we notarize and apostille ('public procedure') by company?
