How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

New deputy minister named
Alejandro Garuz has been named the new deputy minister in the newly created Ministry of Public Security.
It is actually a lateral move, as Garauz is currently the deputy minister in the Ministry of Government and Justice, the entity that previously dealt with these issues.
The appointment was made by President Ricardo Martinelli, who announced it Tuesday while signing the law establishing the new ministry.
The new ministry should begin operating within the next two months. It will oversee the police, Border Patrol, Customs and the National Aeronaval Service.

Panamá, 2 feb (EFE).- El Consejo de Gabinete del Gobierno de Panamá aprobó hoy la creación de un Ministerio de Seguridad Pública y un Ministerio del Interior con el objetivo de mejorar la seguridad en el país.
La Presidencia de Panamá informó a través de un comunicado la creación de sendas carteras, que se dividirán las tareas del actual Ministerio de Gobierno y Justicia, que ahora deberá presentar la propuesta de ley ante la Asamblea Legislativa.
Según la información, el ministro de Gobierno y Justicia, José Raúl Mulino, señaló que el despacho de Seguridad Pública “concentrará la tarea de planificar, coordinar y dirigir a los estamentos de seguridad del país para combatir el narcotráfico, la delincuencia y proteger las fronteras.”
Asimismo, estarán bajo la responsabilidad de esta cartera la Policía Nacional, el Servicio Nacional de Fronteras, el Servicio Nacional Aeronaval y el Servicio Nacional de Migración.
El Ministerio del Interior se encargará de coordinar a los cuerpos de bomberos, el Sistema Nacional de Protección Civil, la Oficina Nacional para la Atención de Refugiados, la Dirección General de Correos y Telégrafos, la Dirección General de Política Indigenista y la Dirección Nacional de Gobiernos Locales.
También estará bajo Interior la Dirección Nacional Pasaportes, la Autoridad del Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre, la Autoridad de Aeronáutica Civil y la Dirección General del Sistema Penitenciario.
