Buenas tardes, no consigo entender esta frase. El contexto del diálogo es que el protagonista y narrador se pone guapo para salir por la noche a ver si ve a una mujer, y su compañero le dice lo siguiente:
“Who’s a pretty boy, then? I hope you’re not going to let the side
down tonight, kid.”
“Yeah, well, she might not even be there, y’know.”
