The complete sentence is: "What does damage beyond repair mean?" I know what it means, but I'm wondering if there is a precise term in Spanish from the field of ecology or the like.

Si se refiere a especies en extincion creo que se puede aplicar, una especie puede sufrir un daño irreversible

No me parece erróneo el término pero tené en cuenta que en español es aconsejable evitar el uso de adverbios terminados en -mente
