The safety gas flaps ensure that the gas only begins to flow when there is ignition. The gas quantity is regulated by the zero pressure adjuster. The Zero pressure adjuster is equipped with a special spring that makes it possible with small load to stoke with a large air redundancy.

The zero pressure adjuster is constantly adjusted by the air pressure after the air-adjustment flaps, the used pressure is a function derived from the air pressure (1:1 at full capacity)
After the zero pressure adjuster, an orifice is placed. By means of the pressure difference at the orifice, the desired gas quantity can be determined by consulting the supplied table. (see appendix 2) This is noted in the stoking report at the time of use.
