These two words are different in use and meaning. I need to know the correct translation for both. See examples below for proper translation of use.
1. Verify that the resolver "feedback" and the LVDT follows position demand.
2. Probe the load side of all of the other fuses and curcuit breakers to make sure that the AC voltage is not being "back fed" into other circuits.
3. It will not be necessary to check for "backfeed" on the AC and 125 VDC circuits.

En cuanto a "retroalimentación" no tengo dudas, pero en lo que respecta el otro término, quizá: "cerciorarse de que el voltaje AC no se desborde a otros circuitos."

Yo entiendo que "back feed" no es un término estándar, sino una manera de expresar una idea en un momento dado.
"Feed'back" sí es un término estándar. Es curioso que suele traducirse por "retroalimentacíón", lo cual puede ser correcto en ocasiones; sin embargo, el significadio más habitual es "realimentación". El prefijo "retro" significa "hacia atrás", y no es esa la idea de una señal de realimentación de un lazo de control, sino la de repetición, reutilización de la señal controlada. Los libros de automática e instrumentación dicen "realimentación". (Por favor, no me hablen de referencias de Internet :-)

Creo que back-feed está usado de una manera más bien informal aquí, pero si te gusta traducirlo por "retroalimenatción" no seré yo quien te lo discuta, pero yo usaría un término simple y llano:-)
