It's a strange one Because I have only ever heard of the word pellets in the context of a composition of several ingredients compressed together into a type of pill shape. The food you would give to pet birds for example would be pellets. You could also use wood pellets as fuel.
In Spanish I would describe this as "aglomerado" or "comprimido".
By definition, pellets tend to be small and wouldn't normally require a specialised storage space.
In Olza's answer, the storage for the pellets I would read as being a storage area within an object that would use these pellets as fuel and therefore it would be strange for the location in your text to be stated as being a harbour.
I don't suppose there's any further context anywhere else in the text is there?

Is there any way That we could be talking about a store in the sense of the US English version of shop? Or is this definitely talking about store as in a storage space?
I've seen lots of references on the web about biopellets or bio pellets and the most popular reference to these refers to a product used for the maintenance of aquariums.
What is the text about?
