Hello Lida,

In the English expression – script call optimization - that you want to translate, the key term is “script” and this term has a normal translation to Spanish that is frequently used also for technical people.

English term “optimization” = in Spanish: “optimización”
English term “call” = in Spanish: “llamada”, “llamadas”
English term “script” = in Spanish: “secuencia de comandos” (This is translation related to software. But if you visit the Collins English Spanish Bilingual Dictionary, you will find other translations like “guión”).

The translation of the “script” to Spanish as “secuencia de commandos” is suggested by Microsoft in its (Portal Linguístico) Bilingual Glossary of Technical Terminology and also for other software companies.

The concept related with the software is right because Collins says that the film script is in Spanish “un guión (una secuencia de escenas).

In software, the concept of a sequences of commands = script is similar to the film script as sequences of scenes.

The English term “commands” = in Spanish is “commandos”. And what are the “commands” or the Spanish “commandos”? They are “orders to make different tasks and/or functions.

Due to we have a normal translation to Spanish, I don’t see that is necessary to write in the Spanish version, the term in English, despite that some people don’t translate it. Personally, I think that we have to translate from English to Spanish all that we can translate. If Microsoft translates this concept, why we will not translate it?

My proposal is: “También hemos mejorado la optimización de las llamadas a las secuencias de comandos”.

In short: “la optimización de las llamadas a las secuencias de comandos”.

I hope this analysis helps you in your work.

Regards

Domingo

Optimización de las llamadas a scripts

Como bien ha apuntado un compañero, se trata de una optimización en el proceso de llamadas a otros scripts.

Mi propuesta es También hemos mejorado la optimización de las llamadas a scripts porque, en esta oración, no son los scripts los que llaman, sino los que son llamados.
