English term
RFI notching
English to Spanish
Tech/Engineering
Computers: Systems, Networks
"The above list of functionalities is not complete, but the most important are covered.
Other functionalities (not included in this test spec) that could be tested or shown are:
• SNR: check whether min, max and target noise margins are respected.
• **RFI notching**: check the correct implementation of **RFI notching**.
• U0 usage: check the usage of the US0 band (can be enabled or disabled).
• Max frequency and max number of bands: implicitly checked in the ETSI compliancy tests.
• Data reporting:
o Near-end and far-end operational data (attenuation, actual & attainable rates, actual noise margins): this was partly covered by the performance tests.
o Performance counters (Code Violations, Corrected Errors (FEC), Errored seconds, …): this will be partly covered by the stability tests.
o Carrier-data (bit loading, HLOG, SNR, QLN, …)"
He encontrado que RFI = radiofrequency interference (aunque no estoy segura).

RFI ---> interferencia de radiofrecuencia
I think the same as Joseph: this is about a 'notching filter' (filtro de muesca), an extremely selective filter intended to suppress an unwanted interference frequency (notch frequency) without disturbing the useful signal frequencies.
Ref.: Collazo's dictionary + experience.
