Contexto: Sterility Test for Bulk and Final Containers. Record negative readings as "N" and positive readings as "P." When no readings are taken, put "W" for weekend and "H" for holiday. Explain any other reason for not recording a reading. In the event tests cannot be read or off-tested at the appropriate interval, read on the next working day and include an explanation for the delay and notify the supervisor. Muchas gracias

What type of tests are they (very important)? What, if anything, is being produced?
I don't get "at the appropriate interval" - should it be "during the appropriate interval" (interval = time period) or "within the appropriate interval" (interval = limited range of test values/results)? Can you tell us this from the context?

agree Sonia García : I think it means tests sent out for further testing (by another team on-site or off-site). "Comprobación", "verificación" o "control" all work. For example: Si los tests no pueden ser leídos o comprobados en el intervalo apropiado...
