We are not talking literally about tyreprints, but of the environmental impact of the vehicle, - the expression being used as an extension of the concept "carbon footprint". Como "carbon footprint" se suele traducir por "huella de carbono", perdemos el juego de palabras. Tanto es así, que opino que se puede traducir tal cual, pero puedes añadir "del vehículo" etc si quieres para indicar que se trata de un coche.

"Reduce la huella de carbono de tu llanta" sería otra opción, pero insisto que creo que el uso de "tyre" es figurativo.

huella de la llanta
In coche que tiende ha dejar menos huella (negra del carbon black) used for their manufacture, dura menos. Ver siguiente párrafo sobre el tema:
Lower the number, the softer the compound IIRC - therefore 42a will grip better but wear out fast. 60a is more hardwearing.
I assume we are in reference to the High Roller tyres - personally, 60a are just fine and have never failed me, even at a saturated Afan rock-fest.
Sounds like some others have recently delved into the 42a compounds - would be interesting to hear if anyone can actually tell the difference.
