2.004 - Shop Drawings
Based on the Interior Designers drawings and current item specifications the
Manufacturer is to submit the following shop drawings to the Purchaser & Installation Contractor (if not
as manufacturer) for approval prior to production;
a) Plan or plans indicating direction in which curtain panels will draw (if applicable,) the location of
and the manner in which draw mechanisms/operating equipment will be mounted. This can
be based on the Interior Designers Drawings.
b) Indicate on Interior Designers Drawings required anchorage and accessory items, actual site
dimension and methods of all hardware attachment and installation.
c) Sketch ***elevations*** of each different style of curtain, panel or blind treatment showing seaming,
pleating, location of weights, tie-backs, pelmets, operational equipment (including details of
manufacturer and model), etc. These elevations should state clearly the materials being used,
headings, fullness etc. The elevations should also clearly state the location of all different fabrics
& trimmings being used.
