Prvý je z troku 1811, druhý dokonca z roku 1736, čiže relatívne blízku k Montmouthovej dobe.
Odds bobs, hammer and tongs just means gosh I am surprised. It's an expletive I suppose.It's probably related to Odds bodikins (Shakespeare) and similar expressions. Anything beginning with odds is a euphemism for God's and bodikins is a euphemism for bollocks.
