Bruton’s Tyrosine Kinase (BTK) is a member of the TEC family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases and is expressed in B lymphocytes, mast cells, macrophages, monocytes, and neutrophils. It is a key kinase in the B cell receptor (BCR) signaling pathway and regulates B cell proliferation, survival, differentiation, and cytokine expression. Abnormal activation of BTK-related signaling pathways can lead to autoimmune diseases and is closely related to the occurrence and development of B cell malignancies (Kil et al., 2012).
