English to Russian Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals

Five groups of 50 male and 50 female Wistar rats were treated orally, by diet administration, with penthiopyrad at target dose levels of 0, 9, 27, 83 and 250 mg/kg/day for 104 weeks.
There was no effect of treatment at any dose level on the survival of either sex. The cause of death or morbidity in premature decedents did not distinguish treated from control animals. There were no treatment-related clinical signs in either sex at any dose level, including the nature, incidence and time of first observation of *palpable tissue masses*.
