resheathable, to my thinking, is to be interpreted as "retractable" into or out of the stent´s sheath (оболочка). This retraction function is of great Advantage if severe infection or other diff. situations occur within 1 or two weeks after the stent´s installation. owing to its re-tractability the stent can shrink and be brought into a catheter for quick and easy removal.
