Ниже приводится описание клапана. Как он функционирует, приблизительно понятно. Но вот как его назвать? Это вопрос...
Приходилось кому-нибудь встречаться с таким? Или это уникальная новинка медтехники?
The saline tube runs through the "kink valve" (named so because it folds up to close off), in order to fill the implants. Then, when the implants are filled, the tube is pulled out of the valve. The short end of the tube, upon leaving the valve, causes the valve to fold into an "S" shape (or kink) in order to close off the device.
