For errors that are easy to fix, the validation program provides a "correct" button. Unfortunately, none of the glitches we encountered fell in that category. Ironing out those kinks would have required us to suck it up and edit the MSI ourselves

neutral Dorene Cornwell : Both of these seem more like "take charge." "Suck it up" means to do something unpleasant but necessary like taking bad -tasting medicine or hand-edit something that should not have to be editted

1. None of my two suggestions mean exactly "take charge". 2. There are variants in usage of "suck it up", one of which means "to embrace oneself". My 1st suggestion is very close to that.
