PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Global Education Account Manager (GEAM) is a senior member of the Regional Education team providing the global leadership and overall management for a set of assigned Accounts.
#
These accounts will be those where there is cross border Education requirements either inter-region or intra-region as well as those of our Partners in APJ. Ultimately this will include various Global Accounts, Partner Accounts and others that require regional co-ordination of Sales efforts.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Manage account planning and strategy process: development, review, management approval (SAP and customer) establishing goals, objectives, and strategies and assigning tactics, resources and timeframes.

Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities through the successful execution of Sales Excellence processes, maintaining an ongoing focus on Profit/Contribution and all areas of the Education LoB.
#
Co-ordinate and integrate all Education delivery functions across countries and regions for the assigned Accounts to achieve lasting, value-based customer relationships that can be measured in terms of revenue, margin and customer satisfaction.
#
Evaluate new SAP Education offerings (Products, Resources and Expertise) on an ongoing basis and recommend as appropriate to drive benefit to the customer and create additional levels of value.
#
Position SAP Education to win sales opportunities by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies that are based on valid, customer-specific value propositions.
#
Work with and be part of the Global Partner Education organisation, managing Ecosystem specific projects and Partner go-to-market strategies.
#
Work with the Alliances team to ensure that SAP Education and SAP's Partners are getting the best 'value' from our Education offerings.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous success in managing large Education customers and projects over lengthy discovery, evaluation and implementation periods in a fast-paced and competitive market and managing P&L over multiple revenue streams preferred.
