O definitie pentru ' defined pores' = 'pores of controlled size and volume'.
In tehnica l-am gasit folosit pentru a denumi, generic, un orificiu de dimensiuni mici.

Tocmai mi-am dat seama ca am uitat sa iti indic linkul unde am gasit definitia de mai sus. Iata-l:

Anyway, am mai cautat, si in marea majoritate a contextelor in care l-am gasit, este precedat de 'well' sau alte cuvinte de genul acesta, pentru a indica gradul sau modalitatea de definire a porilor respectivi. Uite doua exemple (din multe altele posibile):

1) ‘Three lithographically defined pores are sufficient to guide anodization of a new pore in the center’.
