For an accurate translation of this term, first we need to understand few things. Thorax is often translated as ਛਾਤੀ/ਸੀਨਾ (chest) which is wrong because 'chest' is only front part of the body whereas 'thorax' refers to 'both front and back portion of human torso from neck to diaphragm'.

So, there is no technically correct single word definition for 'Thorax' in Punjabi language. It can not be termed as 'torso' (ਧੜ) also because 'throax' is sub-part of torso.

Vertebrae is each of the series of small bones forming the backbone which are commonly known as ਰੀੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਮਣਕੇ.

Now 'Thoracic Vertebrae' refers to those vertebrae of backbone which form the middle segment of vertebral column.

So we can translate this term as ਰੀੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਧਵਰਤੀ ਮਣਕੇ।
