Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (2): Maria Teresa Borges de Almeida, Rafael Sousa Brazlate

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Nick Taylor Jun 28, 2016:
@Maiza Ritomy Remind me NEVER to answer your QUESTIONS in the future. Your choice makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE what so ever in a PORTUGUESE SPEAKING CONTEXT!
Nick Taylor Jun 27, 2016:
PS I am taking this "LIBERTY" as the original text has actually NOTHING to do with baseball, BUT the SENSATION of exceding in SPORTS - and as SOCCER is the most prolific worldwide sport I have made this analogy.
Nick Taylor Jun 27, 2016:
Ergo I would suggest
"marcar num canto" for throw a curve ball! Unless there is a Br alternative :-)
Nick Taylor Jun 27, 2016:
What % of PALOPS know what a HOMERUN is? Grassroots level! Not univerity students or PROZ members!
Nick Taylor Jun 27, 2016:
Change every reference from BASEBALL to FOOTBALL if it is for Palop countries.

Acredito que você possa manter o termo em inglês. Caso queira traduzir, minha sugestão seria rebater a bola para fora do campo:

Obrigado, Vinicius!
agree Paulo Marcon : Fez um home run (... remembering the time you hit a HR...). Colocaria home run em itálico.

Obrigado, BV1! Bem observado.
