pre-dispose = make more likely (in this context) I read this sentence as "The current vaccine research does not indicate that people with a significant Th2 response who receive the vaccine are more likely (because of this Th2 response) to become more seriously ill if and when they contract COVID-19." My brain is dead, so I will not try to suggest a Portuguese translation for now...

"Recipients" parece-me ser os candidatos/pessoas que recebem uma vacina.
O sistema de defesa de cada um funciona de forma mais rápida e predisposta ao reagir a uma vacina.
