tung - Any of three trees of the genus Aleurites or Vernicia (family Euphorbiaceæ), A. fordii, A. cordata, and A. montana, which are native to China and Japan and are cultivated there and elsewhere for the oil from their seeds.

tungue - Árvore da família das euforbiáceas (Aleurites fordii), procedente da China e cultivada pelo alto valor do seu óleo, de folhas verde-claras, lobadas, ovadas e agudas, pequenas flores pardacentas dispostas em panículas laxas, e cujo fruto é uma grande tricoca.
