Alguma chance de ser um "pick-up ring"? Trata-se de uma engrenagem dentada, instalada na face externa do rolamento. No caso abaixo, trata-se de um freio ABS.

Balance in the following steps:
1. 1-Plane Static Balance on Horizontal Balancer
2. 1-Plane Static Balance in Classifier
3. 1-Plane Couple Balance in Classifier
4. Collect Bode Data

2. 1-Plane Static Balance in Classifier

Assemble the Rotor into the CLassifier (figure #2). Again, use a 1-Plane balance to remove the Static Unbalance. Place the ***pick-up*** on bearing #2 and add weight to the CG Plane on the Blades. Do not try to balance at a critical speed, the phase will be changing so much that it will be impossible. Identify critical speeds by gradually increasing the speed and observing peaks in amplitude or large phase shifts (180o) . When the Rotor has been balanced to meet "Very Good" or, better criteria of the "General Machinery Vibration Severity Chart" at operating Speed this step is complete.

Balancing Procedure
Before Balancing locate the CG plane of the rotor by hanging it from the crane while laying on its side. If the current drawing of the rotor does not show the location of the CG or if the drawing is not correct forward a marked up copy of the drawing showing the proper location of the CG to Lisle Engineering.

Existe uma ferramenta chamado magnetic pick-up. Será que é disso que está falando? Tem alguma outra referência no documento?
