1. IF Participant did not score above mastery criterion, proceed to 1-week Retention
Instructed participant: “In the next phase you will attempt to assess the preference of the confederate again in 1 week (retention)”
2. IF Participant scored above mastery criterion, proceed to Generalization.
Instructed participant: “In the next phase you will attempt to assess the preference of a real client (if parent, use parent’s child)”
