Another feature that’s offered on some aligners is electronic ride height measurement. Ride height affects camber/caster so it’s important to check it as part of the alignment process. But measuring ride height can be confusing because different vehicles have different reference points. With the optional ride height measuring system, software provides the correct ride height dimensions along with body wheel offset, body roll, body angle and body wheel setback numbers. This information can reveal hidden structural damage that may require body repairs before the wheels can be properly aligned.
