Qualitative observations from
the stress-strain curves show that the overall level of work hardening decreases
near the peak strength and then increases (at least the initial hardening rate) for the
overaged sample. In addition, one can note that there is evidence of serrated flow
in the supersaturated solid solution (sss) but this disappears as the ageing time is
increased.
