binge eating is a less technical term for bulimia. (I did research, some years back on eating disorders).

"Binge eating" is often translated as "fame nervosa" in Italian, so a person who is a "binge eater" is someone who suffers from bingeing, and therefore someone who "soffre di fame nervosa".

I agree with your previous replies. Just as a matter of interest the word "binge" is also used for excessive drinking - "to go on a binge"
