Students will differentiate between fact, opinion and myth about HIV to develop skills for assessing all health information. Without the facts on STIs and HIV, they cannot protect themselves from problems that can severely affect their lives and the lives of others.

On newsprint or on the board, write the words, “What We Think We Know About HIV and AIDS”.
