copertura del menisco
non riesco a capire bene se si tratta di laminazione e/o stampa. Come "menisco" ho trovato la definizione fisica (vedi sotto). Dovrebbe essere una lamina o comunque uno strato (in metallo o resina)che si sovrappone su un liquido e la traduzione dovrebbe essere "copertura del menisco".

non si capisce bene senza ulteriore contesto, ma se il rivestimento crea una zona con spessori diversi (menisco, ad esempio nelle lenti), potrebbe trattarsi di questo.
