Testo teatrale americano (per la messa in scena e non per la pubblicazione). Dialogo tra due donne che vivono in due posti diversi.

A: Do you live up there year round?
B: Yep. We love it up there. I guess we're country folk at heart. Little country mice. We sit out on the porch at night and look up at those stars and hear nothing but the breeze in the treetops and we wonder how anyone could live anywhere else.

La mia proposta:

A: Vivete lassù tutto l’anno?
B: Eh sì. ci piace stare lassù. Credo che in fondo siamo gente di campagna. Degli scoiattolini. Di sera ci sediamo sotto la veranda e guardiamo le stelle e non sentiamo altro che la brezza tra I rami e ci chiediamo come fanno gli altri a vivere dalle altre parti.
