Si tratta di strumenti a breve termine diversi dal circolante e dai conti bancari (cash). Il termine "quasi moneta" proposto, in sé giusto, andrebbe bene in un manuale di macroeconomia, ma non in un testo finanziario come questo. Cash e near cash si può rendere con "liquidità e strumenti monetari"
