I think it would have been better if you provided some more information with regard to context because in that case we would have been able to say something with authority and naturally the level of confidence would have been maximum!
What I can grasp from the above sentence is if a spider has got more arms i.e. if you mean to say hands, it would enjoy like anything because in that case it would be able to trap and catch more and more insects.
