"Dory worked off a head of steam about a new system introduced by the trash men. She told Luise about a telephone run-in she d' had with what she called some office-jack. With Dory it was not always easy to break into the monologue, and though Luise laughed and took a few pot-shots at office jacks on Dory's behalf, she had a difficult time focusing on what Dory was saying".
