In September 2019 Come in! partner cities have met in Gheorgheni, Romania at Progress review meeting during which a Participatory planning workshop was held. Workshop was based on Placemaking methods to inspire participants to think about public spaces in the city as the heart of the community and try to imagine how a certain public space would look like through their own eyes and engagement.

Θα επιμείνω στη λέξη 'διαμόρφωση' καθότι αναφέρεται στην πράξη/ενέργεια του να δώσω μορφή (εξωτερική όψη) σε κάτι που ήδη υπάρχει -εδώ τον δημόσιο/κοινόχρηστο χώρο. Θεωρώ πως η επιλογή της λέξης 'δημιουργία' στην προκειμένη περίπτωση δεν αποδίδει σωστά τον όρο placemaking, καθώς παραπέμπει σε γέννηση/κατασκευή, δηλαδή σε κάτι που δεν προϋπήρχε.

As a concept, it tends to be used to refer to a specific approach to ‘revitalising, planning, designing and managing public spaces’ (Greenspace Scotland, 2009). Place-making put in simple terms is the process of place production, and can be further explained ‘as a collective process of space arrangement with the aim to advance the usage and living quality of a space and to appropriate the space in a socio-emotional way’ (Fürst et al. 2004 cited in Franz et al. 2008: 323).

: Η λέξη 'δημιουργία' παραπέμπει σε κάτι που δεν προϋπήρχε. Στο δικό μας κείμενο όμως δεν ισχύει, καθώς ο δημόσιος χώρος είναι ήδη υπαρκτός.
