This is not really an answer for you, but I think the tarnish-free means that the lining keeps jewelry from tarnishing. like the stuff used to line cases for sterling silver flatware. And I would guess that 'ultra suede' really is the material called Ultrasuede, because I have never seen a jewelry case lined with leather that is treated to be tarnish-free. See this example:
