Influence by emulsion on ink deposit
The thickness of the emulsion will only increase the ink deposit around the extreme peripheral edge of the open image and fine details < 1.50mm or 1/64 inch.
On the wide bands the squeegee pressure will push the mesh onto the glass surface. Only on the extreme edges of the emulsion will the ink be thicker.
On the fine image the Squeegee is supported by the Emulsion and Mesh **depositing the value** of the mesh and emulsion thickness.
Mir erschließt sich der Sinn des letzten Satzes nicht so ganz.
