Es geht offensichtlich um den Zugriff auf den zentralen Drucker/Schreiber in einem Monitoring-Netzwerk von einem bettseitigen Monitor aus, so wie hier auch in einem Bedienungshandbuch beschrieben:
"Die Datex-Ohmeda S/5TM ViewStation ermöglicht Monitor-Fernmanagement, Speicherung, Ausdruck, Aufrufen und Transfer von Daten verschiedener bettseitiger Monitore oder anderer im Netzwerk befindlichen Geräte..."

maybe monolingual will be something I'll consider in future (I haven't took it as an option)
However, I lived in Austria, so if I get term or explanation in German, that helps even more than in English
From that point I can also use it for many Slavic languages I translate in...

−Displayed parameters in Multi View: For Unity Monitors, the first waveform is always ECG and the first digit field is always HR.
−Bedside view: For Unity monitors notice the following:
•The number of supported parameters is limited.
•The displayed waveforms follow the bedside monitor's screen configuration.
•The digit fields are always fixed.
−The names of some Unity Monitor alarms at the ***may be different from the name of the alarm at the source monitor.
−***does not support the Combo monitoring mode functionality.
