In einem Versicherungsvertrag heißt es unter der Überschrift "LIMITS OF LIABILITY":

.....The Maximum Indemnity Perion in resprect of Section 2 is 24 months **Excess of Waiting Period**.

The above Limits of Liability shall apply/**excess** of the Retention/**Excess**, subject to the Sublimits of Liability.

Mit dem Wort "excess" kann ich in diesen Passagen gar nichts anfangen.
