English term
narrowed the discount on crude

Fondskommentare
In August, we added to the portfolio’s positions in U.S. independent refiners on weakness, as the stocks came under pressure from concerns about the uncertain macroeconomic outlook and its potential effects on demand for gasoline and other products. The start-up of additional pipeline capacity serving the Permian Basin of West Texas, home to prolific oil-producing formations, also ***narrowed the discount on crude*** from this region, pressuring refiners’ profit margins.

Wäre einfach so mein Vorschlag.
