Hierfür stehen der Aufsichtsbehörde eine Reihe von verschiedenen, zum Teil drastischen (Disziplinierungs-) Massnahmen zur Verfügung:
„The Commission may (…) order the regulated person to pay a pecuniary penalty not exceeding the amount which is the greater of (…) $ 10,000,000; or (…) 3 times the amount of the profit gained or loss avoided by the regulated person as a result of his misconduct, or of his other conduct which leads the Commission to form the opinion (…).”394

The Universal Market Integrity Rules are amended as
follows:
1. Rule 1.1 is amended by adding the following as
clause (e) of the definition of “Regulated Person”:
(e) any person subject to a Marketplace Rule
of a marketplace for which the Market
Regulator is the regulation services
provider or was the regulation services
provider at the time of the conduct.
