Focus on higher growth, less "commoditised" market segments

English to German Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
The term "commoditised" is the problem. Is the focus to be put on less crowded market segments i e niche market segments where the competition is less on price? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rather difficult to say since you don't provide any background information! Which product /service are we talking about?

"commoditised market": Markt für Massenware, Markt für Einheitsware, Markt für Generika

That's what I assume. So no more beans in tins but the microwave variety of "beans on toast à la carte".

weniger gängig // weniger handelsüblich

Marktsegmente, deren Produkte noch nicht so gängig/handelsüblich sind und die daher mehr Wachstum versprechen
