When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

Die Übernahme (stehlen) der Funktion des Steuerknüppels des Piloten auf den Knüppel des Kopiloten ist für den Fall vorgesehen, dass der Pilot Pause hat, oder für Notfälle, in denen der Pilot nicht mehr steuern kann.

"lazy" (zum Beispiel in Pause) ist zunächst der Pilot. In einem übertragenen Sinn ist damit auch der Knüppel selber "lazy/idle".
(Für eine Pause könnte der Pilot aktiv auf den Kopiloten umschalten. Diese Lösung wäre aber nicht notfalltauglich. Für Notfälle soll der Kopilot die Kontrolle "stehlen", also ohne Mitwirkung des Piloten übernehmen können.)

: Wäre "lazy" dann eine Eigenschaft des Steuerknüppels oder desjenigen, der sich die Steuerung wegnehmen lässt, oder desjenigen, der sie sich mühelos schnappen kann? ("Neutral", weil ich keine Ahnung habe, nicht, weil ich deine Erklärung anzweifeln würde)
