The present invention relates to a fluid electrostatically actuated device, which will serve to push the fluids into a fluid cell with a deformable electrode, in order to control the optical power of the fluid lens. Contrarily to a continuous electrostatically actuated device, the electrostatically actuated device according to the invention will serve to push a limited volume only, but it will do so very reversibly, and with reduced friction.
