CAUSTIC SODA PREPARATION SYSTEM
Caustic soda will be delivered to the site in bulk bags in pearl form. The annual consumption rates are detailed in Table 3.7, and it is estimated that there will be approximately 4 deliveries per year to the site. The caustic soda solution will be dissolved in a mixing tank and stored in a holding tank. For distribution, the caustic will be pumped in a pressurised loop from which individual control valves will direct the amounts needed for the addition points in the intensive cyanidation leach reactor and elution circuit.
