I found the term in the Kudoz glossary, but I wonder if it is correct in my context, because the definition I found for "agency bond" or "agency security" is "a bond, issued by a U.S. government-sponsored agency." Please see the excerpt below for more context.

"In early March 2008, events put pressure on the investment bank, XXXXX. First, the credit spreads between agency bonds (issued by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae) and Tresury bonds started to widen again."
